Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat [120 km]

Your 11 days tour from Casablanca begins when we welcome you at Casablanca Airport. After meeting your driver, you will visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world, dramatically located on the Atlantic Ocean. After the visit, continue to the capital city of Rabat where you will explore the historic Hassan Tower and the charming Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Bouregreg River. Overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Rabat – Tangier – Chefchaouen [357 km]

After breakfast, continues north along the Atlantic coast. Travel toward Tangier, a fascinating city where Africa meets Europe. If time allows, enjoy a panoramic drive to see the busy port, modern boulevards, and views of the Strait of Gibraltar.

Leaving the coast behind, continue through the foothills of the Rif Mountains toward the enchanting blue town of Chefchaouen. Nestled among mountain peaks, this peaceful town is famous for its blue-painted streets, artisan shops, and relaxed atmosphere. Arrive in the late afternoon and settle into your traditional Moroccan riad for the night.

Day 3: Free day in Chefchaouen

Spend a full day wandering the medina of Chefchaouen, photographing the iconic blue houses, visiting artisan shops, and relaxing in hidden squares. Hike to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views over the town and mountains. Enjoy lunch at a local café and explore traditional crafts like woven blankets and wool garments. Overnight in your riad.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes [256 km]

After breakfast, the journey continues deeper into Morocco as your 11 days Classic Morocco tour heads toward the imperial city of Meknes. On the way, you will visit the sacred town of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, one of Morocco most important pilgrimage sites and the resting place of Moulay Idriss I, the founder of the Idrisid dynasty.

Next, explore the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will walk through ancient streets surrounded by well-preserved arches, columns, and beautiful mosaics that tell stories of life during the Roman Empire nearly 2,000 years ago.

Continue to Meknes, visit the grand Bab Mansour gate, considered one of the most beautiful gateways in North Africa, and see the impressive Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

Later in the day, drive to the cultural capital of Fes where you will spend the night in a traditional riad inside the historic medina.

Day 5: Guided Tour of Fes

At 9:30 AM, start exploring Fes with a local guide, beginning with the Royal Palace (Dar el Makhzen) and its impressive gates. Wander through the historic Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, along with the beautifully decorated Bou Inania and Al-Attarine Madrasas.

Experience the traditional Chouara Tannery, where artisans still dye leather using centuries-old methods, and stroll through lively souks filled with spices, ceramics, carpets, and handmade crafts. Return to your riad in the evening to relax after a full day of cultural discoveries.

Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert [465 km]

Today your 11 days tour from Casablanca takes you toward the Sahara Desert. Leaving Fes behind, you will travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, a charming alpine-style town often called the Switzerland of Morocco.

Next, visit the cedar forests near Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaque monkeys that live freely among the ancient trees.

Continue south through dramatic landscapes, passing mountains, small Berber villages, and fertile valleys until reaching the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its thousands of palm trees and beautiful desert scenery.

Later you will arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here you can relax at your riad and prepare for the desert adventure ahead.

Day 7: Merzouga Desert Exploration

Today you will explore the magical Sahara region around Merzouga, home to the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. During this desert excursion, you will travel across desert landscapes, passing black volcanic rocks and wide open plains near the Algerian border.

You will also have the opportunity to visit a traditional nomadic family living in desert tents and learn about their unique way of life.

Next, stop in Khamlia to hear local musicians play traditional Gnawa music. This spiritual music reflects the deep African roots of the region and offers visitors a memorable cultural experience.

In the evening, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the desert as the sun sets behind the dunes.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley [253 km]

Wake early to witness one of the most beautiful moments of your 11 days Classic Morocco tour: sunrise over the Sahara dunes. As the first light touches the golden sand, the desert transforms into a magical landscape.

After breakfast, travel to the historic town of Rissani, once an important trading center for Saharan caravans. Explore the traditional market, where locals shop for spices, dates, livestock, and handmade goods.

Continue through dramatic desert scenery to reach the spectacular Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with towering rock walls rising over 300 meters high. Visitors can walk along the riverbed and admire the breathtaking cliffs that attract climbers from around the world.

Later in the afternoon, drive through the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its green oases, unique rock formations, and traditional Berber villages.

Day 9: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech [335 km]

After exploring the kasbah, drive through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. The winding road provides stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains and traditional Berber villages. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 10: Guided Tour of Marrakech

At 9:00 AM, you will start exploring Marrakech with a local guide. Start with the Bahia Palace and Badia Palace, stunning examples of Moroccan architecture, then visit the Saadian Tombs and the Koutoubia Mosque with its famous minaret. You’ll also visit the Madrasa Ben Youssef, a stunning religious school known for its intricate tilework and carved cedar wood.

In the afternoon, explore the bustling medina souks, where artisans sell carpets, lanterns, spices, leather goods, and jewelry, giving a true taste of the city’s crafts and traditions.

End the day at Jemaa el-Fnaa, the famous square where storytellers, musicians, acrobats, and food stalls create a lively atmosphere as the sun sets. In the evening, return to your riad for overnight in Marrakech.

Day 11: Transfer tp Marrakech or Casablanca Airport
