Day 1: Welcome to Tangier, Morocco

Day 2: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen [145 km]

After breakfast, we depart Tangier and drive through the scenic Rif Mountains on your 13 days tour from Tangier. Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes [265 km]

After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and travel to Volubilis, Morocco best-preserved Roman archaeological site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk among ancient ruins, explore intricate mosaics, and imagine life in a Roman provincial city nearly 2,000 years ago.

Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco imperial cities, where you will visit the monumental Bab El Mansour Gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the bustling medina. In the afternoon, drive to Fes, Morocco the cultural capital City. Stroll through the winding medina streets and enjoy the atmosphere of one of the country’s most historic cities. Day 5: Explore Fes with a Local Fes

Spend the day exploring Fes with a knowledgeable local guide. Start at the Royal Palace Gates, then visit the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the world’s oldest active university. Stroll through the winding medina streets, stop at the Chouara Tannery to see traditional leather dyeing, and explore the Attarine Museum and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum.

In the afternoon, visit a local ceramics workshop to see artisans at work and enjoy a panoramic view of Fes and the surrounding hills. Take in the city’s rich culture, architecture, and history before returning for dinner and an overnight stay in Fes.

Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert [462 km]

After breakfast, we drive south through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, a charming alpine town with clean streets, European-style architecture, and surrounding cedar forests. We continue to Azrou, where you can observe playful Barbary macaques in their natural habitat and enjoy the peaceful mountain scenery.

Passing through Midelt and the Ziz Valley, you’ll be amazed by lush palm groves, traditional kasbahs, and small villages that showcase rural Moroccan life. We make a stop in Erfoud to explore local markets and see how date palms and traditional crafts thrive in this desert region.

In the evening, arrive in Merzouga, where the camel will be waiting for us. Ride across the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes and watch the golden sunset over the Sahara. Continue to the camp, enjoy a Moroccan dinner and Berber music, then spend the night in a luxury desert camp.

Day 7: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley [275 km]

Wake early to experience the magical desert sunrise, then return to Merzouga by camel for a leisurely breakfast. Afterward, travel west toward Todra Gorge, where you can stroll along the dramatic canyon walls and take in the sheer rock formations rising high above the river.

Continue to Dades Valley, famously known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. Along the way, admire the striking red cliffs, winding mountain roads, and centuries-old fortified villages that dot the landscape. Dinner included and overnight in Dades Valley hotel.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech [332 km]

After breakfast, we drive through the scenic Dades Valley, surrounded by dramatic red cliffs and winding roads. Along the way, we pass the fragrant Rose Valley, where fields of roses bloom in spring, and small villages showcase traditional Moroccan life.

Next, we arrive in Ouarzazate, often called the Gateway to the Sahara and home to the famous Atlas Film Studios. Here, you’ll see locations where international films and series were filmed, offering a fascinating glimpse into Morocco cinematic history.

In the afternoon, visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a striking example of traditional earthen architecture and a frequent filming location. Then cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the historic Telouet Kasbah. By evening, arrive in Marrakech, where the city’s lively medina awaits. Day 9: Marrakech Guided Tour
