9 Days Tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Welcome to Casablanca

Our 9 days Morocco tour starts when you arrive at Casablanca airport. Your private driver-guide will meet you, assist with luggage, and transfer you to your hotel in Casablanca.

Casablanca, Morocco largest city, blends modern life with traditional culture. After checking in, you can relax at the hotel or take a short walk to feel the city’s vibe.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen [375 km]

After breakfast, we begin the day with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Built partly over the Atlantic Ocean, this beautiful masterpiece shows amazing Moroccan craftsmanship with marble floors, hand-carved wood, and detailed tile work.

After that, we drive to Rabat, Morocco capital and one of its four imperial cities. In Rabat, visit Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, then wander around the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a peaceful fortress overlooking the river and ocean.

In the afternoon, we continue north toward Chefchaouen, traveling through green hills, small villages, and scenic countryside. When you arrive in the Blue City, you will have some free time to stroll through the calm blue-painted streets, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful mountain vibe.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes [235 km]

After breakfast, we leave Chefchaouen and head toward Fes. On the way, we stop at Volubilis, a well-preserved Roman archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage Site. With a local guide, you will explore ancient mosaics, Roman baths, arches, and main streets that date back over 2,000 years.

Next, we visit the imperial city of Meknes, where you will see Bab Mansour, one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and parts of the old medina. Lunch will be served in Meknes.

In the afternoon, we continue driving to Fes. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your traditional riad located inside or near the old Medina.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full-day exploration of Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Fes is one of the oldest medieval cities in the world and is proudly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will start by visiting the Royal Palace gates, followed by the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), the first of its kind in Morocco. Walking through the old medina, you will explore Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in the world, visit traditional tanneries, admire the Nejjarine Fountain, and browse the lively historic souks.

Enjoy lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant inside the old Medina. In the afternoon, explore a local ceramic and tile workshop, then take in a stunning panoramic view of the Medina.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert [465 km]

After an early breakfast, we depart Fes and head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, famous for its clean streets, alpine-style houses, and cool climate.

We then continue to Azrou, where we stop in the cedar forest to see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. Afterward, we drive through mountain landscapes and small Berber towns before reaching Midelt, where we stop for lunch.

In the afternoon, we cross the Tizi n’Talghomt Pass and drive through the Ziz Valley, offering breathtaking views of palm groves and desert scenery. By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, near the golden sand dunes of the Sahara.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley [276 km]

Wake up early to watch a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and head toward Rissani, a historic trading town known for its traditional market.

We continue through Erfoud, famous for fossils and marble workshops, then drive through palm-filled valleys toward Tinghir. Lunch will be enjoyed along the way.

In the afternoon, we visit the Todra Gorges, where massive rock walls rise dramatically on both sides of a narrow canyon. You will have time to walk, relax, and take photos. Later, we continue to the Dades Valley.

Enjoy dinner and spend the night at a hotel in the Dades Valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech [340 km]

After breakfast, we drive through the scenic Dades Valley, also known as the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. We pass through the Rose Valley and Skoura Oasis, stopping for photos along the way.

We arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa, then continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a famous UNESCO-listed fortified village. Take some time to wander through the ancient kasbah and savor a tasty lunch at a nearby spot.

In the afternoon, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying breathtaking views. We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Day 8: Guided Tour of Marrakech

After breakfast, take a guided tour around Marrakech with a friendly local guide to discover the city. You will explore Morocco major historical sites, including the stunning Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the iconic Koutoubia Mosque. In the evening, you can enjoy free time to walk around the Jamaa El Fna Square.

Day 9: Airport Transfer [Marrakech or Casablanca]

Depending on your flight time, you will have free time for shopping or relaxing in Marrakech. Later, your driver will transfer you to Marrakech or Casablanca airport, marking the end of your 9 days tour from Casablanca.
